Hi, it's Nicole from the NYU Motor Speech Lab, coming in very quickly to share one of my favorite activities for pediatric motor speech therapy: stickers. Dr. Grigos, the head of the lab here, loves stickers in treatment too.

Here's something I'm doing right now; you can get it on Amazon. It's a create-a-turkey sticker set. You can make a bunch of them, and this is one I did with a kid. Isn't that so cute?

I love these kinds of tasks because we're working toward a finished product, and we can get really good, focused practice while earning stickers to complete the project. I think this is what it's all about: how can you keep the child happy, engaged, and with you, while still having those moments of blocked, focused practice?

I'll put a link in our stories.
