My story

Clinician, researcher, teacher and mom

I'm Nicole, a pediatric speech-language pathologist passionate about helping children with motor speech challenges, especially Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

With over 25 years of clinical experience, I combine research, teaching and hands-on therapy to support families and guide fellow clinicians. I'm Lead SLP for an NIH-funded CAS treatment study at the NYU Motor Speech Lab, an NYU adjunct professor, and a proud mom, marathon runner and breast cancer survivor.

More about Nicole

It is a profound honor to help children learn how to talk. That moment they realize they can move their articulators to sequence speech sounds and begin getting their point across verbally, that moment is magic.
